To talk about people is to talk about places.
How we arrange materials and objects surrounding us is how we arrange people.
It´s propaganda; the easiest way of perceiving the world. But many stories can be told.
My work is a renegotiation of place.
Places arising. Like trophies they talk about achieving, possessing. Places being critical situations, changing into misfits.
It never gets totally complete, and totally understood. It never gets still.
Att tala om människor är att tala om platser.
Vårt sätt att ordna material och föremål i vår omgivning är också vårt sätt att ordna människor.
Det är propaganda, det enklaste sättet att förstå världen. Men det finns många historier att berätta.
Mitt arbete handlar om att omförhandla platser.
Platser som uppstår. Som troféer talar de om att uppnå, äga. Platser som är kritiska situationer, förändras till missanpassningar.
Det blir aldrig helt fullständigt, helt och hållet förstått. Det blir aldrig stillastående.
