Konstfack presents the 2014 degree candidates: artists, designers, craftspeople and art educators. All 177 degree projects, both master’s and bachelor’s, exhibited at the same time.

Inauguration at 4 p.m. by Vice-Chancellor Maria Lantz, Curator Johanna Karlin and student Gustaf Nygren who will perform Civil Noise of Disobedience.

Friday Lecture: Disruptive convictions
Powerful forces rising from below on a tide of conviction, frustration, concern, passion and/or hate, refusing to accept current power structures, set orders or the state of things. The goal is alteration – the result is anything from a backlash to modification to revolution.
What are the dynamics – the means, methods and results of engagement, activism and action?

Conceptual artist Ahmet Ögüt works with a broad range of media including video, photography, installation, drawing and printed media.

When a piece of fabric is hung, how would it react to space? Is the shape of the fabric changed by gravity, wind or raindrops? Akane Moriyama will talk about her investigation between textile and architecture through her practice-based research.
